What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work the same way. They let a site remember things between page loads and pages. This page explains the ones kefilab.com uses and how to control them.

What we use them for

Only one thing: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising, ad targeting, or tracking you across other websites. We run no ad networks and no social media pixels.

Cookies and storage we set

When you visit kefilab.com, the following may be set:

→PostHog (analytics) — a first-party cookie and browser local storage, used to measure pageviews, on-site behaviour, and to record anonymised session replays so we can fix usability issues. EU-hosted; data stored in the EU. Persists up to roughly 12 months unless you clear it.
→Ahrefs Web Analytics — cookieless. It measures traffic without setting any cookies or storing data in your browser.
→Netlify (hosting) — serves the site. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies; any cookies are strictly operational (security and load balancing) and not used to profile you.

What we do not use

→No advertising or retargeting cookies
→No cross-site or third-party tracking cookies
→No social media tracking pixels
→We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for their own use

How to control cookies

You are in control. You can:

→Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this per site or globally. Blocking analytics cookies will not break the site.
→Use your browser private/incognito mode, which clears storage when you close it.
→Send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal — our analytics respects opt-out preferences where your browser sends them.
→Email hello@kefilab.com and we will help you opt out.
