The situation

Afirmwithmomentum,andablackbox.

Judge Law is a UK law firm that came to Kefilab with a familiar problem. They were doing the right things — investing in their online presence, running Google Ads, building their profile. Leads were coming in. But the founders had no real visibility on what happened after that. Which enquiries converted. Which fee earners were at capacity. Which matters were stalling.

This isn't unusual. Most law firms are run by solicitors, not operators. The business side lands on the founder by default — usually with a collection of tools that don't talk to each other.

What we did

Brand·Build·Grow,inthatorder.

01Brand

We started with positioning — who Judge Law is actually for, what makes them different, and how to communicate that clearly. From there: messaging framework, tone of voice, and a visual identity refresh that felt authoritative without being cold.

02Build

A new website built around how prospective clients make decisions when choosing a solicitor. Clear practice area pages, trust signals in the right places, and a contact flow that reduced friction. Fast, mobile-first, technically sound from day one.

03Grow

Google Ads campaigns targeting the practice areas with the highest value per client. Connected to the new site so spend went to pages built to convert. Attribution tracking so the firm could see which channels were driving enquiries — not just traffic.

The gap

Whattheengagementsurfaced.

The Brand, Build, and Grow work performed. Enquiries increased. The cost per lead came down. But a pattern kept emerging in reporting conversations: leads were arriving and then going quiet. Not because the firm was losing them — but because there was no way to see what was happening after the enquiry came in.

Clio is the practice management system most UK law firms use. It's excellent at what it does. What it doesn't do is give a firm's leadership a view of the whole picture — lead pipeline, matter progression, fee earner capacity, aged debtors — none of it in one place, none of it connected to the marketing activity that generated it.

We looked for a tool that would fill this gap. There wasn't one. So we built it.

The product

KefilexbuiltbyKefilab.

Kefilex is a multi-tenant analytics platform for UK law firms using Clio. It mirrors a firm's Clio data into dashboards that give leadership the visibility they've never had: outstanding leads, matters in flight, fee earner pipelines, collections and WIP, and an executive overview that makes sense of the whole thing.

Judge Law was the first firm on the platform. The product was built around the specific gaps the Kefilab engagement had surfaced — which means it solves real problems, not hypothetical ones.

What this engagement proves

The Judge Law engagement is the clearest example of what Kefilab believes: that brand, website, and growth work best when they're treated as one connected system. Kefilex closes the loop — and exists because of the client work that came before it.
